Bristol named world’s best culinary destination
Bristol has been named the world’s best culinary destination at a prestigious international awards ceremony.
The World Food Travel Association’s FoodTrekking Awards “celebrate excellence and innovation in experiences for food- and beverage-loving travelers”.
Bristol was the only UK shortlisted entrant in the awards, which took place on Sunday evening at the end of the Food Travel Innovation Summit in London.

Within seven awards categories, 54 winners from 23 countries have been recognised for their excellence and innovation since FoodTrekking was founded.
World Food Travel Association executive director Erik Wolf said: “Our industry needs successful and innovative role models to emulate, which is why it is essential to recognise excellence and achievement in food and beverage tourism.”
