Inside Rick’s, Bristol’s newest cocktail bar
Serving cocktails, oysters and “golden-age glamour”, Rick’s is the latest addition to the drinking scene in BS1.
Named after the famous gin joint from Casablanca, Rick’s overlooks Pero’s Bridge and has a generous outside seating area for summer evenings.
In what used to be the Bristol Hotel’s Shore bar, Rick’s hopes to transport its guests to warmer climes.
is needed now More than ever
Alongside cocktails, Rick’s is serving a menu of ‘evening bar bites’.
The cocktail menu at Rick’s features some inventive signatures such as ‘ripples on the sea’ and ‘secret longings’ as well as a collection of classics.
And it is possibly the only cocktail bar in Bristol where you can enjoy oysters with your old fashioned.
Meg Houghton-Gilmour was invited to Rick’s as a guest, and did not pay for any of her food and drink
