Oowee Vegan on Baldwin Street was named as Best Vegan Offering and Restaurant of the Year at the awards ceremony, beating some 20,000 mainly carnivorous menus to the title.
“We’re over the moon as this seems like a big victory for both veganism and independent restaurants,” Oowee Vegan co-owner Verity Foss told Bristol24/7.
“We adore working with Deliveroo. They’re a fantastic bunch of people and we’ve built a solid relationship enabling us to be extremely successful on the platform and reaching a much larger customer base.
“We’re looking forward to what the future holds and opening many more sites.”
