Cafe with bagels, pastries, coffee and plants opens
A new cafe filled with locally sourced food and drink has opened for business.
Poquito has opened on Cheltenham Road next to the Pipe and Slippers, in what used to be Emmeline, and now sells coffee, bagels, pastries, and plants.
After working in nightclubs for 12 years in Manchester, owner Sam Janes says he is ready to open his first coffee shop and start a new chapter in his life in a new city.
is needed now More than ever
Poquito is currently open from 8am until 5pm during the week and 8am until 4pm on weekends.
The team is using local suppliers for its produce, with wares from Clifton Coffee, Pano Bakehouse, Bishopston Bagels and Mint Plants.

“It’s been a challenging environment and venture, but I’m enjoying it,” said Sam.
With only a small team of San and barista Christos Titan, they still need a bit more time to get the cafe fully completed.
Sam added: “We’ll shut for a couple days in a week or two, finish off building and painting, and tweak the menu before coming back for good.”
