Chef and music lineup announced for Eat Drink Bristol Fashion 2020

Some of the best chefs from Bristol and across the UK are joining forces for the return of Eat Drink Bristol Fashion, with the relaunched festival also hosting live music and DJs.

Chef-patron of Michelin-starred the Pony & Trap, Josh Eggleton, and Story farmer and Valley Fest founder, Luke Hasell, are pairing up with Team Love, the festival and event production company behind Love Saves The Day and The Downs festivals, with the brand new food and music event for the city; with Bristol24/7 as media partners.

General admission tickets will allow entry into the festival to be held over the weekend of May 2 and 3, giving access to a plethora of special events from guest chefs to panel discussion.

Eggleton and the team hope to build on the success of the original festival which was held in Queen Square from 2011 to 2015 as a celebration of Bristol’s food and drink culture.

Visitors to Eat Drink Bristol Fashion for 2020 will also find the Little Loco tent within the festival, a pop-up party venue serving food, drinks from the team behind Pasta Loco on Cotham Hill.

The Bristol Taste Tent
Within the festival, visitors will find The Bristol Taste Tent. Different Bristol restaurants will be showcased each day serving up taster dishes for £5

  • Saturday: Glassboat, Lido, Little French, The Pony & Trap, The Pump House, Root, Woky Ko
  • Sunday: Adelina Yard, Bravas, Bulrush, Paco Tapas, Seven Lucky Gods, Tare

The Banqueting Tent
Three Bristol chefs will be collaborating with visiting guest chefs in the Banqueting Tent – to be housed in the Eat Drink Bristol Fashion tipis.

  • Saturday lunch: Josh Eggleton with Tom Kerridge and Tommy Banks
  • Saturday dinner: Romy Gill with special guest TBC
  • Sunday lunch: Peter Sanchez-Iglesias with Jude Kereama and Tom Brown
  • Sunday dinner: Brad Carter and Gareth Ward with a soundtrack from Futureboogie

Demo Stage
Both guest and Bristol chefs will share their skills on the Demo Stage over the festival weekend with the following appearing on each day, hosted by Ujima presenter Tremaine Plummer, with more to be announced:

The Bandstand will host live acts and DJs across Saturday and Sunday.

The first general admission tickets for the returning Eat Drink Bristol Fashion festival will go on sale at 9am Friday, February 14 with a limited number of early bird price tickets available via www.eatdrinkbristolfashion.co.uk at £10 per ticket (rising to £15 and £20 once these allocations sell out).
