One of Bristol’s favourite Chinese restaurants has moved its Clifton home just a few hundred yards down the road.
Chilli Daddy is now operating from an unusual building on Queen’s Road next to the Victoria Rooms that for many years was Rajmoni Indian restaurant and since then has been both the short-lived Chopping House and Maza.
Founded as a market stall in 2011, Chilli Daddy has been a Bristol success story in recent years.

In 2014 it was named as a finalist in the BBC Food & Farming Awards and now has four restaurants across the city on Perry Road, Baldwin Street, St Nick’s Market and Queen’s Road.
Its move from 98 Queen’s Road to 88a Queen’s Road is currently still in its trial opening phase, with cooking taking place outside on the restaurant’s patio.
