Cupp opens in Cargo 2
The unique spaces of Cargo 2 must instantly feel like home for the third Cupp store in Bristol, as it is their second (after its original store in Quakers Friars) located in a shipping container.
The new branch in Cargo 2 serves simple noodle dishes and more traditional hot drinks, but its main fare is its range of bubble teas, priced from £3 to £5 depending on your preferred toppings and size.
Bubble tea is a Taiwanese drink, with origins tracing back to the 1980s. It has become increasingly popular across the UK during the past few years, and is regarded by many as the Marmite of the cold drink world: you’ll either love or loath those chewy tapioca pieces at the bottom of your drink.
is needed now More than ever
For those with amateur bubble tea ordering skills, the staff at Cupp are very well informed and ready to provide customers with recommendations on flavour combinations.
Watching the tea being made is a fascinating experience. A special shaking machine ensures that all the ingredients are well blended together, and the sealing machines ensure your drink’s safe transportation. From start to finish, it takes only a few minutes to produce the unique drink.
