Deliveroo to give away 800 Oowee burgers for just 8p
Deliveroo is celebrating eight years in Bristol by giving away 800 burgers from Oowee for just 8p.
Burgers will go on sale from 11.30am on Monday from Oowee Diner on North Street and Oowee Vegan on Baldwin Street, and will be available in limited numbers until Wednesday.
Police were called in 2019 when Oowee joined forces with Deliveroo for their fourth birthday in a free burger giveaway on College Green.

This time, Bristol’s burger behemoths have created a birthday burger called the Bristol Smash, featuring a locally-sourced smashed patty (with both meat and vegan options) topped with West Country Cheddar cheese, slow-cooked Thatcher’s cider caramelised onions, handmade wholegrain mustard mayo, and crunchy gherkins.
Melissa Barnes, city manager of Bristol at Deliveroo, said: “It has been an absolute honour connecting Bristolian foodies to the best local restaurants at the click of a button for the last eight years.
“We wanted to celebrate in style, and what better way to do this than to partner with one of Bristol’s most-loved local restaurants, Oowee, to create our limited edition birthday burger.”
