Did we need a better excuse to head to Pieminister?
Pieminister is on a mission to plant a brand new forest this autumn.
Eat Pies: Plant Trees campaign has been running all summer and continues into September, where the sale of the new plant-based pie and patty sales has raised almost enough to plant an impressive 7,000 trees.
Every time you buy a plant-based pit or patty, 10p will go towards to campaign and contribute to transforming this area of unused land in Kent into a flourishing forest.
is needed now More than ever
On top of the pies, Pieminister has also launched a new tea towel from Bristol artist Parys Gardener. From every sale, £1.50 will go directly towards the purchasing, planting and caring of 1000’s trees which will be planted this Autumn.
Jon Simon, Pieminister founder says “Our tea towels are an unexpected best seller for us, so when we sold out again recently, we commissioned Parys Gardener to create a fresh design that could also raise funds for our new forest.”

“We love what Parys has done! Inspired by summers spent relaxing among the trees in Bristol’s parks, it’s a birds eye’s glimpse of park life at its most vibrant and beautiful. Last summer, for many of us, Bristol’s parks were a lifeline, somewhere to escape for fresh air and nature so it seems fitting to have an urban tree-scape illustration to support our forest fundraising.”
The limited-edition tea towel is available through Pieminister’s online shop: https://pieminister.co.uk/shop/product/tree-towel/
