Easton bakery opens second site
A bakery based in the east of the city is opening a new store south of the river.
East Bristol Bakery will replace Bakers and Co in Wapping Wharf in a collaboration with the Public Market and Brockley Stores.
On offer will be cinnamon swirls, sourdough loaves made with Shipton Mill flour, sausage rolls and Extract coffee.

East Bristol Bakery managing director Rob Hagen said: “We’re hoping to bring smiles in the morning – a cheery hello, an amazing Extract coffee, and freshly baked breakfast.”

Hagen added: “We’ll be serving breakfast (think pastries, bacon sandwiches or bread to toast at home), lunch (home made sausage rolls, savoury danishes, sandwiches) and of course, ALL THE CAKE!
“We may even have a few mince pies up our sleeve in the run up to Christmas.
“We are really looking forward to working together with some of our new neighbours to help people understand about the journey of where our food comes from and where it is made!”
East Bristol Bakery opens at Cargo 2 on Wednesday and will be open Monday to Friday 8am till 3pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am till 4pm.
