Easton bakery stars in nationwide Visa Christmas advert

A huge billboard now on display near Temple Meads shines a spotlight on a small bakery on St Mark’s Road in Easton.

East Bristol Bakery is one of the stars of Visa’s Christmas campaign which focuses on independent retailers across the UK.

East Bristol Bakery owner Rob Hagen said that “everybody loves this city, this community and our bread!”

Rob added: “Being involved in Visa’s Where You Shop Matters campaign has been great, not just because it has put a spotlight on the UK’s independent businesses but because it has allowed us to celebrate the people that matter the most – our loyal customers.

“We look forward to seeing faces both old and new this Christmas – hopefully our billboard advert (and the smell of freshly baked bread wafting down the street!) will bring a touch of festive joy to Bristol this season.”
