Eighties-inspired cocktail bar opening in central Bristol
After opening two successful sites in London, Blame Gloria, a late-night cocktail bar, is opening a third site in Bristol this summer.
The new bar describes itself as an “eccentric” and “opulent” venue, taking inspiration from 1980s groupie culture, acting as a “fantasy playground for the rockstars of the era.”
Blame Gloria plans to take over the former Timbuk2 nightclub site at 22 Small Street, a venue which offers low arched ceilings and has a capacity of up to 400 guests.

Guests will be able to enjoy some favourites from the bar’s extensive list of cocktails including the signature Sugar Daddy and colour changing cocktail, Karma Chameleon, well into the early morning – 3am to be exact.
Blame Gloria will also offer a happy hour of 2-4-1 cocktails for those fancying after-work drinks, which will run seven days a week.

The founder of Blame Gloria, Tom Kidd, has described Bristol as the perfect spot for their latest site, saying: “We’re thrilled to be branching outside of the capital and what better city to do so than the cultural hub of Bristol.

“The venue poses the perfect layout for Blame Gloria’s eccentric interiors offering a hot spot like no other for the people of Bristol.”
Kidd promised the bar had “many plans” up its sleeve to keep the momentum post-launch.
