Falafel King on the move
Since opening on the centre in 2000, Falafel King has become a Bristol institution.
Whether a lunchtime snack or a nighttime pick-me-up, the small unit has introduced thousands of Bristolians to the joys of fried chickpeas.
Due to the success of its original home on the centre, it opened a bricks and mortar restaurant on Cotham Hill in 2013 complete with a Middle Eastern cavern in its basement.
is needed now More than ever
BuzzFeed even named a falafel from Falafel King as the number one thing everyone needs to eat in Bristol, calling it the “undisputed chickpea monarch of Bristol”.
Do not be alarmed, however, when you can’t find the unit in its usual position close to Under The Stars.
Due to MetroBus works, it has been forced to move to among the fountains on the centre.
