Famous riverside pub goes on sale in Saltford

The Jolly Sailor pub in Saltford has gone on sale for £195,000.

With the sunshine trying to crawl our way, many will be disappointed to hear that the historic pub is up for sale.

Located on the banks of the River Avon at Saltford Lock, between Bristol and Bath, the Jolly Sailor has become a popular spot for sun seekers looking for an alfresco drink or pub lunch.

Believed to have been built in 1726, the pub is a Grade II listed building and has a prime view of the river and passing water traffic from its location immediately adjacent to Saltford Lock.
