Find out how gin is made
A special tour of a gin distillery near Bristol is taking place on Saturday as part of this year’s Food Connections festival.
Launched in 2010 by family-run business Bramley & Gage, 6 O’clock Gin has won a whole host of local, national and international awards across its different ranges over the last few years.
Taking place on Saturday, June 16 at its headquarters in Thornbury, the tour will provide a unique insight into the life of a working distillery.
is needed now More than ever
Visitors will get the chance to see Bramley & Gage’s “double bubble” copper still and learn why time – the theme of this year’s Food Connections – is such an important part of their story.
There will also be an opportunity to see, smell and touch the botanicals that make up the gin, and of course plenty of opportunities to drink some samples.
Designated drivers will be given a handy ‘takeaway’ option as part of the tour so that they can make the perfect gin and tonic at home.
Tickets for the 6 O’clock Gin tour cost £25. To buy tickets and find out more information, visit www.bristolfoodconnections.com/events/behind-the-scenes-distillery-tour-tasting/
