First look inside Chance & Counters on Gloucester Road
Bristol’s new Chance & Counters is officially opening its doors on Friday.
The space on Gloucester Road is double the size of its original location on Christmas Steps (which will continue to operate) with an on-site kitchen.
Alongside hundreds of games to choose from, a food menu will include vegan pizza from Purezza who previously occupied this unit.

Chance & Counters on Gloucester Road is the team’s biggest site yet

Dirty fries and a game of Sushi Go
There will soon be more than 500 board games to play here at 79-81 Gloucester Road, with eight lines of craft beers and cider, and coffee from Clifton Coffee.
Burgers start from £8.75 for a cheeseburger with the dirty fries with bacon crumb costing £6.
Beers from Bristol breweries including Arbor, Good Chemistry and Left Handed Giant are currently on tap, with a selection of milkshakes and smoothies.
For full access to the library of games, there is a gaming fee of £2 per person per hour; but if you’re just coming in for food and drinks, the gaming fee does nor apply.
