Food Connections festival to return in 2019
From a front room cuppa to a marquee in the city centre, ideas of all shapes and sizes are now being sought for the return of Bristol Food Connections in 2019.
Next year’s festival will take place from June 12 to 23, with a mantra of bringing people and good food together.
Food Connections creative development producer, Gemma Thorogood, said: “Bristol Food Connections is a festival created by the people, for the people.
is needed now More than ever
“Shining a light on all the incredible foodie activity already happening across the city of Bristol, it’s a chance to connect, and really bring people together through the vehicle of food.
“I can’t wait to hear people’s ideas, so we can start weaving their stories together to create this magical festival again.”

In 2018, more than 130 events were held, including breakfast served on a train, a Community Iftar at Barton Hill Settlement, an inter-generational pizza making competition and a World Food Passport.
Also back for 2019 is the Festival Hub which will once again be found in a city centre location, and will feature a host of events curated and organised by the Food Connections team.
The deadline for ideas for next year is December 14. Download the Call for Events pack at www.bristolfoodconnections.com/put-on-an-event
