Friska returns home for newest cafe
Once upon a time, not too long ago, if you were to take a day out in Bristol you would find half a dozen Caffe Gustos.
There is now only one left near Temple Meads, with one of their last vestiges off Queen Square soon to become the city’s latest Friska.
Due to open in June, the new cafe on the corner of Prince Street and Queen Square will be the eleventh Friska store to open.

The Bristol-born chain, which began life on Victoria Street, has since expanded out of the city into Manchester, but are returning home for their latest cafe which will have seating for 34 people.
Friska co-founder Griff Holland said: “When we saw this site was available, it was too good to miss. It’s an awesome spot on the corner with plenty of people living and working in the area looking for good, fresh food and great coffee served speedily by great people.
“We’re joining several other brilliant businesses in the area and we look forward to adding to the growing food and coffee offer around Queen Square and the harbourside.”
