Gareth Bale’s Bristol bar opening soon
A golf-themed bar co-owned by Wales football captain Gareth Bale is due to open in December.
Work has now started to fit out Par 59, which promises to “bring the competitive world of mini golf to Bristol’s Harbourside!”
Par 59 in Bristol will be located above Lane 7 on Millennium Promenade and follows the success of the original bar in Cardiff.

Bristol’s Par 59 is due to open on December 9 with bookings opening on Friday.
Its website says that “it will be home to a premium bar, exceptional food from independent kitchen, Dirty Birdie, with plenty of space for casual dining and socialising”.
There will be two nine-hole mini golf courses and four interactive dart boards.
But despite the Par 59 team saying that it will be “the perfect spot for friends, family and work colleagues alike”, the new venue will be over-18s only.
It continues a recent trend for large bars in the Harbourside area, following closely behind Lane 7 and Brewdog.
