Gingerbeard’s Preserves first birthday
Bristol chef Harry Calvert has been making delicious craft preserves since 2011 and his company Gingerbeard’s Preserves is about to celebrate its first birthday here in Bristol, combining music, beer and great food.
Discovering a love of craft beers, Harry began to expand his recipe repertoire using different styles and flavours of beer to create sauces, jams and chutneys.
Winner of a Great Taste Award earlier this year, the preserves are a must-try. But don’t worry if you’re not a beer fan, there is also a great traditional range of preserves, and even a seasonal range making the most of what Bristol has to offer.
is needed now More than ever
At a one-year birthday celebration on Saturday, The Little Tanqueria will be serving up tacos, including one being made with ox tongue cooked in Moor Beer Co. stout, topped with salsas and chutneys from Harry.
The event takes place at Moor Beer on Days Road in St Philip’s on Saturday, November 21 from midday.
You can also sample Gingerbeard’s Preserves at Temple Quay Market every Thursday and the Bristol Harbourside Christmas Market.
