Japanese restaurant to open second site

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Jan 11, 2023

A popular Japanese restaurant is set to open their second site in 2023.

Izakaya specialise in Japanese street food, sushi and sake from their original location on College Green.

They have recently been teasing their new location on social media – with a sign in the window only saying that they are “opening soon”.

The new Izakaya will be opening on Aplsey Road in Clifton in what was most recently Souk Kitchen, which still has their original restaurant on North Street in Bedminster.

Izakaya say they “bring the spirit, fun and relaxed atmosphere of Japanese izakaya to city of Bristol”.

“Come and join us in a relaxed and informal setting to eat popular and delicious Japanese street food, katsu curry, ramen, poke bowls, sushi and desserts while enjoying cold beers, wine or sake from our extensive drinks menu.”
