Japanese restaurant opens on Park Street

By Bristol24/7  Thursday Jul 6, 2017

It may currently be being talked about as a road on the wane, but Park Street now has a new Japanese restaurant in the form of Yakinori.

Yakinori already has two restaurant in Birmingham with the hope that the Bristol branch can be the start of a national chain.

Located in what was formerly a Starbucks, the new restaurant is laid out over two floors with a large open kitchen.

A substantial menu is divided into tempura, teppanyaki, gyoza, katsu curry, bento box, chilli noodles, ramen, grill teriyaki, donburi, kokonatsu curry and salad.

There are also more than 50 varieties of sushi.

Drinks include unlimited green tea, bubble tea, sake, plum wine and Japanese lemonade Ramune which if you’ve never seen before you might need the help of a waiter to open the glass bottle that is sealed with a marble that has to be dislodged.

A children’s menu has food from £4.50 and among the puddings are mochi ice cream: little balls of ice cream wrapped in a layer of sticky rice.
