Murrays cafe and deli opens on Park Row
On a recent lunchtime, customers at Murrays on Park Row included people having a light lunch, students doing some last minute cramming and one gentleman having a glass of wine with his meal.
Murrays is already well-established in Clevedon as a deli, artisan bakery, Italian wine shop, cafe and restaurant under one roof, and the only surprise is how long the Murrays name has taken to arrive in Bristol – although the family do already own Bordeaux Quay.
It’s light and surprisingly spacious inside their new Bristol cafe and deli, formerly the short-lived Lean Meals, with a floor to ceiling glass window offering a view of the University of Bristol’s Theatre Collection.
is needed now More than ever
Murrays offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, with breakfast choices starting at granola for £3.50, and the later food menu being divided into small, salads, sandwiches, panini, pasta/rice, specials and sweet.
You can also pick up items from their deli, from fresh bread and pasta to bottles of olive oil, preserves and a big collection of wines and spirits.
With specialist food shops Viandas and Sotiris already there, Park Row is already a bit of a foodie hotspot. The long overdue arrival of Murrays is yet another excuse to fill your stomach and your cupboards.
