New beer brewed to celebrate Bristol Craft Beer Festival
The team behind Bristol Craft Beer Festival have joined forces with St Werburgh’s brewery, Wiper & True, to create this year’s limited edition beer.
The new beer, called Festival Saison to Celebrate, will be poured as Bristol Craft Beer Festival returns to the Lloyds Amphitheatre from September 11 to 13, making it the first major post-lockdown event to take place in the city.
Festival founder, Greg Wells, said that Wiper & True “are a Bristol institution when it comes to beer and hopefully this partnership will really help beer lovers get just as excited as we are for the festival”.
is needed now More than ever
Wells said: “Our aim was to come up with something that symbolises this moment; when we get to celebrate with the city for the first time since lockdown. That is how we came up with the name.”
Breweries taking part this year include local favourites such as Wild Beer, Left Handed Giant and lost & Grounded, as well as the likes of Mikkeller, Northern Monk and Basqueland.
Food will come from Popti & Beast vs Asado, Murray May’s, Two Belly and Alpmac.
