New cocktail bar could open on Baldwin Street
Yet another cocktail bar could be coming to Bristol, this time on Baldwin Street.
Adventure Bar is part of a portfolio of bars across London with sites in Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Waterloo, as well as one venue in Birmingham called Luna Springs.
One of their venues, Nikki’s Bar in Shoreditch, is described as “twisted cocktails and hedonistic vibes”.

Another, Tonight Josephine in Clapham, is the origin of the infamous neon sign and popular feature of Instagram that reads ‘well behaved women don’t make history’.
Baldwin Street’s Adventure Bar could join the seemingly ever-growing hoard of cocktail establishments that sit in the City Centre including Dirty Martini, The Library and Scarlet Lantern.

The cocktail and drinks venue business previously looked to open in the former Timbuk2 on Small Street, which was once home to a 24-hour cafe before it closed in 2016.
Adventure Bar’s new application for a premises licence was submitted on Thursday, February 10, detailing the possible new site for the bar.
It looks likely to open in 28 Baldwin Street beneath a block of flats, with opening hours applied for running from Monday to Sunday between the hours of 10am and 3.30am.
The application was made under + Venture Battersea Ltd, a London-based public houses and bars company. The owners have applied for permission to host live music as part of the licence.
Founded by Thomas Kidd and Tobias Jackson, Adventure Bar is part of a group of bars built over 15 years in bustling sites across the UK.
Adventure Bar Group was bought by Nightcap, a hospitality group formed by ex-Dragon’s Den investor Sarah Willingham and Michael Toxvaerd, in January 2021.
