New cocktail bar inspired by the world of Tarot and the occult

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Dec 7, 2021

Musicians, dancers and magicians will be entertaining the guests at Bristol’s newest cocktail bar.

Now open in the heart of the Old City, The Raven has been opened by the experienced team behind Hyde & Co and the Milk Thistle.

Inspired by the world of Tarot and the occult, the new bar promises “exceptional cocktails and outstanding service, as well as an array of immersive performance and live music”.

“The Raven has been a work in progress for over two years now, with the pandemic inevitably holding it up, so we’re thrilled to finally be opening the doors,” said Hyde & Co founder, Nathan Lee.

“We felt Bristol was really lacking a cocktail bar that brought great drinks, service and performance together under one roof, and have worked really hard to create something unlike anywhere else, so we’re extremely excited to bring our concept to the city for people to experience.”

The Raven is located above Four Wise Monkeys, with its entrance on St Nicholas Street, and will also be offering membership, which entitles members to priority booking, complimentary welcome drinks, and preferential options for private parties and events.
