New cocktail bar opening on Clifton Triangle
“A twisted ode to Neverland at night” promises to be the theme when a new bar well known to cocktail connoisseurs in the capital opens this month on the Clifton Triangle.
London Cocktail Club has nine bars in London – at locations including Covent Garden, Oxford Circus and Shoreditch – with the Bristol bar on Triangle West its first venture outside the M25.
The bar, in what was most recently Manos, is set to open until midnight from Monday to Wednesday, until 1am on Thursday, and until 2am on Friday and Saturday, with members able to stay one hour later on Friday and Saturday.

London Cocktail Club co-owners JJ Goodman and James Hopkins say that they have been wanting to open in Bristol since appearing on the third and final series of BBC Two reality show The Restaurant in 2009.
As part of the programme, the pair opened The Summer House on the site of the former Deasons restaurants, on Whiteladies Road – with their blackcurrant soufflé cocktail winning them a business partnership with judges Raymond Blanc and Sarah Willingham.

Goodman said: “After lucking out in Bristol back in the day, we’re beyond excited to be returning to the city to share the love with the crew, old friends and new!
“This is going to be the start of something incredible. So, let’s all swing a light, sink a martini and bring on those LCC nights we’re never going to forget!”
Design features in the three-storey bar will include an enchanted garden, a ticking crocodile and even a secret wardrobe.
