New coffee cart opens at Finzels Reach
The inside/outside terrace of Left Handed Giant’s brewpub at Finzels Reach has a new arrival.
Counterslip Coffee is now serving coffee and pastries every morning from 8am, with former Hart’s Bakery barista Nick Friend behind the La Marzocco machine.
It is currently most easily accessed via Castle Bridge but will soon be handily located on a new pedestrian walkway that will hug the Floating Harbour, linking Bristol Bridge with St Philip’s Bridge.
is needed now More than ever

Counterslip Coffee is now open from 8am every weekday morning
Counterslip Coffee has been opened by Nathan Harber and Millie Driessen, who also own West Street Kitchen in Old Market.
Nathan built the cart himself using reclaimed doors from the old Council House. Its sign used to advertise kebabs in a previous incarnation of West Street Kitchen.
Coffee here is from James Gourmet of Herefordshire with pastries from Assembly Bakery of Old Market, with Mollie hinting that she might soon be introducing ice cream sandwiches.

This new walkway will soon connect Bristol Bridge with St Philip’s Bridge
