is needed now More than ever
The shop boasts a large counter laden with cheese, cold meats and olives, as well as an assortment of fresh fruit and veg, groceries and more. Suppliers include Chew Valley Smokehouse and Forest Bakery.

There are plenty of Italian influences in Poco Deli on Church Road
Work from a local potter is available to buy and there are plans to showcase and sell more pieces from local artists.
Smiling cheerfully behind her mask, owner Eve Anning, who used to work in a deli in Clifton, says opening her own business was always a long term plan that was brought forward due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“My plan this year was to take my food trailer to festivals but, given the current situation, I thought what can I do on a more permanent basis?” She says.
“We moved into the area a couple of years ago and wanted to open somewhere here and see how it goes – so far it’s been really good.
“We have a lot of Italian-influenced products because me and my partner have been to Italy a lot and we love it. We are trying to support local and independent producers and artists, especially given what’s happening at the moment. It’s hard for people.
“It’s nice for customers to be able to come in and buy essential supplies from a small local place rather than having to go to a big supermarket.”
