New gin bar to open within historic Bristol building

By Martin Booth  Monday Feb 3, 2020

If it’s good enough for Snoop Dogg, it’s good enough for us.

Gin & Juice already has bars in Cardiff and Cheltenham, and the business with the same name as one of Snoop’s most well-known hits is due to open soon in a historic building in Bristol.

By day, Gin & Juice will serve healthy breakfasts, light lunches, freshly pressed juices and coffee from their sister company Coffee Barker.

The bar will take up two floors of the grade II listed building on the corner of Park Street and Great George Street which has stood empty for almost three years.

Most recently a high end pawnbroker, 47 Park Street was one of the original buildings on the road.

From 1757 to 1790, it was the home of Henry Cruger, who holds the possibly unique distinction of being mayor of Bristol, an MP and a US senator.
