New home for city centre cafe

A popular city centre cafe has got a new home in the shape of a converted shipping container.

It’s early days yet for Just Ground, with future plans including a few seats for customers inside and a large awning to protect those sitting outside from the rain.

Plans for Just Ground’s new home have been in the making for around three years, before the arrival of the converted shipping containers into Cargo at Wapping Wharf.

As well as the new indoor seating and awning, co-owners Arrow Jie and Fency Feng envisage more food options including Asian fusion, and changing the name of their business to Ka:Fei, the Chinese word for coffee.
