Liquid nitrogen ice cream stall opens in St Nick’s Market
Ice cream is created in front of your eyes at Brozen, a newly opened food stall in St Nicks Market which adds a sense of theatre to the frozen stuff.
It’s a dangerous process too. So customers stay behind glass as an operative wearing safety specs uses liquid nitrogen and an electric whisk to make your ice cream.
is needed now More than ever
Over the first weekend of opening, ice cream flavours included vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry and vanilla, with a special of carrot cake; and strawberry and plum sorbets.
Prices start at £2.90 for a ‘baby bro’, rising to £4.80 for a triplet with up to three flavours.
Brozen is the brainchild of two brothers, one of who has left his consultancy job in London to launch this new business.
The pair promise produce which is as local as possible (the carrots for the carrot cake special were bought at Bristol’s wholesale fruit and veg market) and free from any preservatives.
