New Indian restaurant to specialise in dosas

By Martin Booth  Wednesday May 31, 2023

The owners of Nutmeg in Clifton Village and Nadu on Stokes Croft promise to bring “the tropical taste of south India to Bristol” with their new restaurant, Kal Dosa.

Due to open on Gloucester Road in mid-June, Kal Dosa aims to “capture the essence of south Indian train journeys, where every station is a gateway to local specialities”.

Dishes at the restaurant replacing Spicer & Cole will include dosas, thalis, biryanis and curries.
