‘Proper pub’ to open in Wapping Wharf

By Martin Booth  Friday Mar 24, 2023

The team behind Bristol Beer Factory promises to bring a classic British pub to the heart of Wapping Wharf.

The Ashton Gate-based brewery will be opening Junction within what was previously the Wild Beer bar.

Beer and cider at the new pub will be from Bristol Beer Factory as well as other local producers, with pub grub overseen by Josh Eggleton, a director of the brewery as well as co-owner of other businesses in Wapping Wharf including Salt & Malt and Root.

Bristol Beer Factory managing director Sam Burrows said: “Wapping Wharf is such an iconic area of Bristol, and we’re thrilled to be joining what is without a doubt the most vibrant community of independent retailers in the city.

“We’re aiming to create a destination for everyone, from those popping by for lunch, an after-work beer, or somewhere to enjoy a drink by the harbourside.”
