Real life beer to accompany Bristol-made beer brewing simulator
A real beer has been made by a Bristol brewery to accompany a beer making simulator which allows players to make pretend beer.
Brewmaster invites gamers to “discover the ultimate celebration of craft beer and master the art of homebrewing”.
An early look at the game invites players to “experiment with a range of ingredients and equipment, and use the in-game recipe system to try your hand at making your own beers”,
is needed now More than ever
The beer brewed by Moor to accompany Brewmaster is an American pale ale called Auroch Digitale, named after the makers of the game, Auroch Digital of St Paul’s.
The beer will enable players to taste in real life one of the beers they will brew in their digital world, with the homebrew kit in the game even looking like the first homebrew kit of Moor founder Justin Hawke.
Auroch production director, Peter Willington, said: “We’re based in Bristol, so we just had to represent the amazing craft beer scene you can find here in the city in Brewmaster.
“Moor Beer was the perfect choice for us, and partnering with the team has been fantastic: from Justin talking on our panel about beer and tech, to us visiting the brewery, to having Moor Beer glasses in Brewmaster itself, to this latest truly amazing collaboration!”
