Restaurant forced to shut due to coronavirus
A restaurant in Wapping Wharf is closed “until further notice” after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus.
The closure of Seven Lucky Gods on Saturday also saw Woky Ko Rooftop close for the day to enable their neighbouring business to undergo a deep clean.
The member of Seven Lucky Gods staff with Covid-19 had not been in the restaurant since Tuesday and had not been in contact with any customers.

All other staff will now be tested with temperature checks carried out on the team, who will all be self-isolating until their test results return.
In a statement, Seven Lucky Gods said that they were “gutted”.

The statement added: “We know this will be worrying and disappointing for anyone who was planning on visiting us this weekend and who has visited in the past week, but we want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to keep everyone safe, and would much rather be overcautious.
“We’re sending loads of love to our team member who’s currently unwell and will keep you posted on our plans as and when we begin to reopen.
