Retro arcade games bar opens on Park Street
A new bar with retro arcade games has opened in Bristol, offering up a unique concoction of craft beer, cocktails and consoles.
Four Quarters has three venues in London and has now launched its newest site on Park Street in what used to be the Bristol Ram.
Specialising in game restoration for “nostalgia and new experiences alike”, the bar hosts over 20 original arcade machines spanning from the 1970s to 1990s.

Tying in with their name, the arcade machines run on US Quarters which can be purchased at a cost of £1 for four.

Booths spread over two floors include built-in screens where users play titles on Sega, Nintendo and PlayStation consoles. Visitors can book areas for groups to play.
As well as providing a host of games from Space Invaders to Time Crisis 2, patrons of Four Quarters can sample some of Bristol’s best beers alongside their gameplay.
Featuring local breweries and in-house creations, the menu at Four Quarters includes craft beer from Lost and Grounded and Bristol Beer Factory– gaming is thirsty work after all.
