New openings on Park Street

Award-winning Indian restaurant Myristica of Welsh Back, and before that King Street, is moving to Park Street.

It will be opening in what was the short-lived Meluha and what was all set to be another Indian restaurant Mayaa, which got as far as putting a sign above the door and menu in the window but never opened.

Just down the road, Cafe Du Jour are opening a second premises.

The Whiteladies Road cafe are busy at work transforming what used to be Park Street Cafe and what more recently was part of Java nightclub, itself set to be transformed in a big money refurbishment.
