Spicer & Cole to open fifth Bristol cafe

By Martin Booth  Sunday May 1, 2022

With cafes already on Queen Square Avenue, Gloucester Road, Princess Victoria Street and Finzels Reach, Spicer & Cole is a Bristol success story.

Spicer & Cole owners Carla and Chris Swift have now announced that a fifth cafe will be opening in mid-May.

When the couple opened their first cafe on the corner of Queen Square and Welsh Back in July 2012, they always planned on it becoming the first of five cafes in Bristol and perhaps further afield; and they are soon to achieve that target.

The fifth Spicer & Cole will make its home on the ground floor of the recently refurbished RWA on Queen’s Road.

On Instagram, the team wrote that this cafe will not be doing brunch, “but you can expect lots of lighter breakfasts, cakes, pastries, salads, tortillas, tarts and all the delicious counter food we’re known for”.
