Surprise as Bristol sandwich shop doppelgänger discovered in Iran
A Bristol sandwich shop has discovered it has an almost identical doppelgänger in Iran.
The Iranian shop has used the same colour scheme, name and branding of Sandwich Sandwich to start their own business.
Sandwich Sandwich posted about their Iranian doppelgänger on their Instagram, making light of the situation.

“We always knew our sandwiches were a hit, but we didn’t expect them to go international,” they said.
“These cheeky bastards once DMd us asking to use our branding for their shop in Iran after they had already built it.”

The Iranian sandwich shop has its own Instagram account called ‘ssandwichsandwich’ and mentions the original Bristol brand in their bio.
The branch has a sandwich menu that also uses Sandwich Sandwiches’ branding, and includes a MEGA sandwich (baked ham, mozzarella cheese, hot dogs and mushrooms).
Sandwich Sandwich seems to be taking it lightly, and have been responding to customer comments on their instagram post jokingly offering to fly people to Iran to try their ‘Ultimate hot sandwich’.
