This milkshake pop-up can turn all your favourite sweet treats into a milkshake

By Mia Vines Booth  Wednesday Jun 22, 2022

A new milkshake pop-up has made itself at home on Gloucester Road.

It’s not exactly clear however, when it is open, and how long it will be there.

Sami Shake is currently located next to Sainsbury’s on Gloucester Road, and is serving milkshakes using people’s favourite sweet treats to combat the summer heat.

The pop-up is sure to be a blessing for those with a sweet tooth. It’s walls are lined with Aeros, Milkybars, Ben and Jerry’s, Oreos, Buenos, Snickers and more, and it looks like all of these confectionaries can be turned into milkshakes.

If you need more proof, the owner, Ali, says his favourite is the Kinder Bueno and Ferrero Roche milkshake.

Ali has converted what used to be a horse box into his milkshake pop-up, giving the trailer a new lease of life through a lick of bright-pink paint and pink disco lights.

The converted horse box is currently stationed outside Sainsbury’s on Gloucester Road

Ali says he hasn’t had much luck yet on Gloucester Road where he has been for the last week, but says he is going to be testing the waters around the city, including Castle Park and around the university.

There’s even talks of adding hot dogs later.

Keep your eyes peeled for this elusive pop-up around Bristol.
