Two new wine bars to open soon in Bristol

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Sep 24, 2019

Oenophiles are in for a treat as not just one but two new wine bars are set to open in Bristol soon.

On North Street, the former Hare pub (which was most recently the short-lived Leveret) will be transformed into Kask.

Kask promises to be a wine bar and deli serving organic, sustainable and minimal intervention wine from the tap, by the glass or by the bottle to drink in or take away.

Kask will be opening on North Street in October

Meanwhile, in Finzels Reach, another new wine bar and shop will be offering up to 64 wines within part of the ground floor of the restored Courage brewery.

Le Vignoble, like Kask also due to open in October, will offer a changing monthly selection of wines from self-service dispensers, with customers either pre-paying for their wines on a free membership card or paying at the end of their evening.

French tapas-style food will accompany the wine at a business which already has sites in Plymouth and Bath.
