UK’s biggest indoor big screen at Ashton Gate
The new Sports Bar & Grill at Ashton Gate will not just have the UK’s biggest indoor big screen but also a Michelin starred chef cooking there during the Rugby World Cup.
Two tipis familiar from the Eat Drink Bristol Fashion events on Queen Square will also come to Ashton Gate for the duration of the tournament forming the Heineken and Butcombe beer garden.
Josh Eggleton of the Pony & Trap and Salt & Malt will launch his England-inspired tapas menu at the stadium for the host nation’s opening game against Fiji on Friday, September 18. kicking off at 8pm.

“My first ever job was selling Bristol Rugby match day programmes for my dad’s printing company and its great to see the development finally completing and giving the city of Bristol a stadium to be proud of,” Eggleton said.
“The whole Eat Drink Bristol Fashion team will be working to bring something truly Bristol fashion to the World Cup season at new Ashton Gate.”
All home nation games at the World Cup will be shown on the large external LED screen as well as on the giant internal screen.
