Vegan burger joint to open in Wapping Wharf
A new vegan burger joint will soon be opening at Wapping Wharf.
VeBurger is promising to bring plant-powered and sustainable classic burgers and sides to Bristol’s independent harbourside quarter.
VeBurger was founded in early 2022, by young couple Dillona and Cindy, “with a vision of providing plant based alternative food which doesn’t compromise on taste and is better for animals and the planet”.

Previously operating out of a ‘dark kitchen’ (a restaurant serving food solely through delivery apps), Wapping Wharf will be their first permanent fixture.
Speaking about their plans for the new opening, co-founder Dillona said: “We love the vibrant atmosphere in the Wapping Wharf community.
“We think it’s the perfect place for a start up such as ourselves, and we know that our customers will love the scenery and the feeling the community provides you with.
“We’re excited to meet our neighbours and offer the Wapping Wharf regulars a great plant-based dining option.”
The cargo containers in Wapping Wharf house an eclectic mix of Bristol’s best independent restaurants and eateries. Whilst there are plans to redevelop the area, the current establishments have been promised plots in the permanent building.
The proposed plans have been described as “one of the final pieces in the jigsaw that will complete the regeneration of Bristol’s iconic floating harbour”.
Their doors will open on May 29 in Cargo 2, and the restaurant is offering a free burger to their first 100 customers.
