Pie Baby will be open at the Golden Lion from 5pm to 10pm on Friday and midday to 10pm on Saturday, with a more permanent takeover due to happen soon.
is needed now More than ever
The business has become known around Bristol for pop-ups at Small Bar and Moor, where they paired their pies with Moor’s vegan-friendly beer.
Pie Baby’s husband and wife founders Finn and Lara Fair (below) told Bristol24/7 at the start of a successful crowdfunding campaign earlier this year that they “aim to reach as many people as we can to show just how good vegan food can be with the right recipe”.
Their pies, all topped with garlicky mash, are:
- El Fuego Bandida – chilli bean
- Cheesy Rider – mac’n’cheese
- The Stroganoff Molotov – mushroom stroganoff
The Golden Lion’s most recent residents, Burger Theory, now have their own restaurant on St Stephen’s Street.
