‘Version of the perfect wine bar’ opening soon
Bar Ripiena will have a handpicked wine selection from across the world as well as a range of artisan charcuterie and cheese.
It is being opened by the team behind Pasta Loco, Pasta Ripiena and Bianchis, who promise “to bring you our version of the perfect wine bar”.
“We have often received wonderful compliments for the wine lists throughout our restaurants, we feel now it is time to really express our passion for wine fully,” say the Bianchis Group team.
is needed now More than ever
Bar Ripiena is opening in the Old City in what was most recently La Sorella, just a couple of doors from Pasta Ripiena.
The Bianchis Group are also currently hard at work transforming the former Rocotillos on the Clifton Triangle into the first permanent home for Pizza Bianchi.
The new bar on St Stephen’s Street will offer a range of wine flights and host events including journeys through Italy, Spain, France and more.
“Whether you have dinner next door at Pasta Ripiena and fancy a spritz before or a Negroni after, we got you,” the team wrote on their social media channels.
“If the sun’s out, grab a glass of bubbly under our gazebos or if the clouds are grey prop up the bar with a big red,” say the team.
“If you ever find that we have a full house, grab a bottle to go or get us to deliver a case of wine or two to your doorstep.
“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has followed, supported and enjoyed La Sorella, this is not the end, just the next part of the story.”
