Which Bristol food and drink businesses are still open?

The Bristol food and drink scene has shown remarkable resilience since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak.

Each business has had to make its own decision as to what to do, whether that means switching from being a restaurant to a takeaway or a cafe to a delivery service.

For many it has also meant closing their doors completely following the latest government advice.

Here are some of the businesses across the city that remain open. Please email martin@bristol247.com to be added to this list.

• Dumplings, baos, stir-fried greens and noodle soups can be collected from Ah Ma’s Dumplings in Kingswood or delivered.
• Bakers & Co are baking fresh sourdough every morning and selling cupboard essentials and lots of alcohol.
• Baraka Community Cafe are delivering a limited menu via bicycle, with a pay-it-forward fund to support those unable to afford food.
• Some of Bristol’s best restaurants including Bertha’s Pizza and Chomp are now on Deliveroo.

• The Bowl Shed is now only on Deliveroo, offering their açaí and smoothie bowls.
• The Bristol Cheesemonger is encouraging its customers to order from their online shop, www.bristol-cheese.co.uk/shop, where they are also selling Little Victories seasonal house blend coffee.
• Bristol Cider Shop remains open online for all your cider needs.
• Those living in BS5 can order savouries, breads, pastries, cakes, veg boxes, milk and butter from The Bristol Loaf, www.thebristolloaf.co.uk/shop
• The Cauldron are selling provisions boxes and their Sunday roast via the-cauldron-dispensary.myshopify.com.
• The menu and food boxes from Chris & Jo’s Kitchen are available for same day takeaway and delivery.
• Deli @ Sandy Park have fresh veg, rice, flour, fresh bread and home baked goods. The team deliver from 4pm to those not able to leave the house.
• Pick up your favourite Spanish products from El Colmado.
• Fox & West are delivering but reserving those spots for self isolating or vulnerable members of the community.

• Full Court Press is delivering coffee from BS1 to BS8 by bicycle. To order, visit fcpmerchdept.square.site.
• Grano Kitchen are delivering their Italian food and also accept collections.
• Veg boxes from Hugo’s greengrocer can be ordered by emailing hugosvegbox@gmail.com.
• Left Handed Giant are delivering their beers by bicycle. Use the code BETTERBYCOURIER to get 10 per cent off.
• Food boxes from Little French contain bread, wine, milk, butter and eggs.

• Mark’s Bread continues to bake bread and make all their usual products to take away, as well as serving hot and cold drinks.
• Take away is still available from the Moor Beer brewery tap with their shop offering home delivery to most Bristol postcodes.
• Officedrop are delivering their Nutribox healthy snack boxes to home workers that can fit through the letterbox.
• All NHS and emergency workers receive a 20 per discount from Pak Butchers.
• Poco are also on Deliveroo, selling burgers and breakfasts.A £10 donation will also allow them to feed NHS staff.
• People in the St Werburgh’s area can get free delivery from Popti & Beast.
• Snobby’s wine bar and restaurant is delivering food and essential items with a free-of-charge next day service.

• Source have set up a home delivery service.
• Tapestry are delivering both beer and pizza from their brewery.
• Pick up frozen dishes from Tiffins, which is is open seven days a week and hopes to offer deliveries soon.
• The Tobacco Factory car park now acts as a drive-thru to pick up food and groceries.
• Two Ways are open for deliveries from Friday to Sunday evenings, mainly focused on pizzas but also offering homemade cakes such as tiramisu.
• Wiper & True are offering free delivery of their beer from BS1 to BS8 through their website shop, www.wiperandtrue.com/order-beer-online.
