TradeWind Espresso operated from 118, Whiteladies Road for eight years, but the team behind the independent cafe have now announced they will close.

In an Instagram post, the team said: “After eight years of service, we are sorry to announce that Tradewind Espresso has now permanently closed its doors.

“Due to the current cost of living crisis, it is no longer possible to keep the business running.”

TradeWind Espresso were known for their own in-house Espresso, hence the name.

They also prided themselves on home-made cooking and locally sourced ingredients, serving home-made cakes, nut milks, preserves, chutneys, pickles, smoked and cured fish, salt beef and more.

TradeWind Espresso follows in the path of a number of hospitality businesses in Bristol that have had to close due to the  cost of living crisis.
