The Fish Shop owner Daniel Stern is “excited and nervous like with any new venture” and pitched the bar to “busy mums and dads who can pop to Perch for a snack and escape the kids”.
With wine starting at £3.50 a glass and a lager for £4, Stern hopes to create a “European experience” for customers each evening that won’t damage the bank.
The pop-up has been in the works for some time, with customers suggesting the team could serve alcohol to compliment the fish.
The seafood bar on Gloucester Road is open Thursday to Saturday from 6pm to 10pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 7pm.
