Cooking couple host pop-up restaurant

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Sep 9, 2015

A couple who met while working in a Michelin star restaurant in Birmingham are hosting their first pop-up in Bristol.

Andrew and Caroline Evans met while Andrew was working in the kitchen and Caroline front of house. Their love of cooking and restaurants has since taken them all over the world, working in Cornwall, France and Australia.

“Moving forward, we would love to have our own place one day but first we want to get our name out there and make the most of the buzz around the Bristol food scene,” Caroline told Bristol24/7.

“Pop-ups are a great way to get to know what people like and don’t like and what our own strengths and weaknesses are. We are hoping to continue to on to do more supper clubs and events and gather more inspiration for our future business as we go.”

Into the Woods will be a one-off five course set menu dinner at The Library on Cheltenham Road on Sunday, September 13, promised to be packed with earthy, seasonal treats.

The bar will be open for drinks from 6pm with guests to be seated by 7pm for the first course. The menu will cost £25 per person. Drinks, including a wine flight selected from The Library’s award-winning wine list, can be purchased separately from the bar.
